The Arms Control Reporter is a research and reference
tool for the arms control professional and advocate. It covers efforts
to limit all types of weapons: nuclear, biological, and chemical,
major conventional weapons, small arms and light weapons, land mines,
and others. Since it was last published in 2005, the Arms Control
Reporter has undergone substantial revision.
Outline of changes in the 2006 Reporter
- New Format- This is the first
edition of the Reporter to be released as an annual compendium.
As a result of this change, subscribers will no longer receive
blue binders. Also gone are the colored pages denoting different
subsections, tabs, and inserts.
- New Coverage- The 2006 Reporter
covers the following topics in new separate sections and subsections:efforts
related to controlling nuclear fuel cycle; the implementation
of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons and its Protocols
and the negotiation of new Protocols; and cluster munitions.
- Revised Coverage- The 2006 Reporter
now provides in-depth coverage of efforts to control small arms
and light weapons, including the UN Programme of Action.
